WALNUT CREEK — Double-Double, Animal style and 4×4 lovers could one day be able to pick up their favorite beefy sandwich at an In-n-Out pitched for the northern end of the city’s main drag.

Walnut Creek-based Hall Equities Group is proposing to build an In-n-Out Burger at the corner of 2nd Avenue and North Main Street in the city’s commercial corridor. The restaurant is part of a development that includes a brand new Starbucks, and upgrades to an existing building currently housing Masses Sports Bar & Grill and a lot of offices.

Hall Equities spokeswoman Deb Karbo confirmed the developer has signed a lease with In-n-Out to bring the restaurant to Walnut Creek.
